The Wild West Train of John Whittle was built by Supercar and redesigned by American Coasters. The chain lift coaster was first documented when Rainbow Park took ownership around 1986; however, the machine belonged to Butlins first, but its whereabouts were unknown. In the year 2000, the ride started a 9-year stint at the Zoological Gardens in Dudley; it moved from there to Matthew Danter in 2009. For the first year under Matthew Danter, the ride went on loan to Barry Island Pleasure Park. The coaster was sold to John Whittle in March 2018
