Built with the name Aviator by AK Rides for Joseph Manning and first opened in June 2015. In 2019, the Sky Swing was sold to Alfred Gregory, who operated the machine until it was renamed Flying Machine and sold to Flamingo Park in Hastings. The ride has been owned by Henry Brett since April 2025, when he first opened it at the McKeans Family Funfair in Bramcott
