Made its debut with Elliot Hall in July 1996 after being built by Nottingham, UK. Under Elliot Hall, the machine started life in Billing Aquadrome; Elliot did not start presenting it himself until it left the park in 1997. The Rogers family purchased the ride in March 1998 and ran it for 10 years, first with Jimmy from 1998 to 2007, then with James from 2007 to 2008. The Miami opened under Clark McKean in January 2008; however, as of 2026, its future is uncertain, as the ride was listed for sale in late 2025
