Maxwell built it after John Ling purchased the remains of a defunct Moonrocket from the Kursaal in 1954. John Ling ran the Waltzer under the name Lings' Sensational Waltzer for 18 years, before selling it to his son-in-law Albert Evans who gave it the new name of Atmosphere Creator. Albert's Son took over when he retired and pulled the ride up to one of the most famous Waltzers around with some people dubbing it as a mobile nightclub. The machine has been out on loan 4 times from 2000 to 2021 at Tir Prince in Wales, the 2005 summer season at Dreamland Margate, 2007 to 2008 at Southport Pleasureland and finally back at Tir Prince in Wales in 2022.
