Built by Sam Ward for Chris Danter, he presented the machine from September 1979 to May 1986 before selling the Meteorite to Billy Danter, Billy had the machine that earned the name Gravity Wheel due to how it pins you to the outside from May 1986 to 1994 before selling it to John Smith. Whilst the ride was owned by the Smith family it had a spell under the ownership of Wayne Smith until it was sold to Henry Studt in December 2010. In December 2011 Denzil & Tommy Danter took ownership of Crazy Cage for 3 years before it was purchased by Stacey Squires in February 2014.
