Originally an Ark called Super Ark Maxwell built the machine for Henry Botton to debut in 1963. After Henry, the Ark moved to Coney Beach Pleasure Park from 1971 to 1974 and Clacton Pier from 1975 to 1977. Keith Emmit had a short spell with the machine from 1977 to 1978, since then it has been owned by William Percival. Under William's ownership, the Ark was called Easy Rider but was changed to Percivals Waltzer after it converted
