Built by K.T. Enterprises for Billy Crow Jr., it debuted in 1992. In 2002, the machine was sold to Irish showman Jim Murry, who operated it until 2006, when Alan Cowie imported it back to the UK. Alan operated the Spritzer Miami until he part-exchanged it at Douglas Taylor Amusements Dealership in 2009. The ride entered storage until a buyer could be found. In 2013, Stanley Freeman was the showman who stepped forward and took the ride out of storage.
