Built by H.P. Jackson for Drayton Manor Theme Park, although the ride was owned by a 3rd party for the 1980 Season (Jimmy Shipley) the ride was transferred to the owners of the park in 1981. In 1993 the Waltzer was renamed the Black Revolver and became a fully enclosed dark ride with a light touch of Wild West theming. Around 2003 the cars from a scrapped Waltzer from Butlins at Skegness were purchased for the ride, the ride continued to operate like this until it was sold to Ross Woodford in November 2010. In February 2016 Ross sold the Waltzer to Rainbow Park Hunstanton
