The Galloper ride was built by Savage and made it's debut for Charles Barnes in 1904, the Carousel has had 5 other owners since Charles sold it in 1914, Joseph Pont from 1914 to 1924, Mrs E. Wright from 1925 to 1942. Thomas Bugg took ownership in 1943 for an unspecified amount of years, the next owner was John Barker although the year he purchased the machine is unknown. Rainbow Park purchased the machine around 1954 from John Barker
