Built by Northern Amusements in 1996 for Patrick Burton, this Superstar has had six different owners. After Patrick Burton sold it in 1999, Thomas Stringfellow operated it for five years before Bayside Fun Park in Bridlington purchased the ride in 2004. The machine only had a short stint at the park, as just before the 2005 season started, Michael Cowie took ownership, and only after 12 years did he sell it to Jonathan Barker(2019). In 2019 the ride was purchased by the Scarrott family, first John Scarrott from May 2019 to July 2021 and then his son Phillip.
