Super Dodgems

Michael Thompson

Built by Supercar for John Biddall in 1947. John owned the set for 42 years before selling it to Joe Cogger in 1989, who kept it until 1992. Clarence Pier owned the machine from 1993 to 1999 before Symonds Yat Leisure Park presented it in the 2000 and 2001 seasons. The track was stored for a year before Lee Freeman purchased it in 2003, he presented it until he sold it to Michael Thompson and Son in 2006. The Dodgems was also rebuilt by Lang Wheels sometime in the 90s after suffering extensive storm damage. *FUN FACT* the track was built up in a pub carpark and used as an extension at Micheal Thompsons' local pub in the Covid years
