Built by UK ride manufacturers Tivoli for Showman Micheal Woods of the USA, the ride was received by Michael in early 2001. Despite being made to order, by 2003, he had put it on the market. In 2003 John Parrish and a few friends made the trip to the USA to visit a few rides he had an interest in, however, he was not able to get any of the showmen to part with their machines. Having nearly given up, he received a tip of a carnival close by that had been organised by a showman looking to lighten his assets. John Parrish showed interest in Micheal Woods Extreme, and although it may have looked basic at the time, Parish had a vision for it and had an offer accepted nearly immediately. The machine arrived in the UK later in 2003 and John Parrish started an ongoing project that has put the ride in the top 3 6 arm Extremes in the UK.
