Built sometime in the 1930s as an ARK/Speedway for Pat Collins. Pat sold it to the Kursaal Amusement Park in 1943 when the park was having its finest years, they sold it to George A. Smith in 1950 when it was replaced by a Moon rocket. With the popularity of ARK/Speedway rides falling along with fears of Safety increasing, in 1958 George chose to convert it to a Waltzer to ease these fears. In 1970 Walter Bates purchased the ride and operated it until 1978 when he sold the ride to the Whiting family, at first it was Jimmy who operated the ride but now it is operated by James Whiting
