George Rowland Tucker & Sons

Built by R.J Lakin and first used by Botton Bros in 1947 as an Ark/Speedway. The early years of transfers have been a little hard to pin Point but its owners were Botton Bros until the early 1950s, then came Battersea Funfair from 1953 to somewhere around 1956, the next set of records show it as being at Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach from the early 60's to the late 60's. In around 1972 the ride was found running at Botton's Pleasure Beach in Skegness, it was last documented here in 1982, so it is assumed it was around this point the Ark/Speedway went South and start a stint that would take it to 1992 at Clacton Pier. After 1992 the Ark/Speedway would become a travelling machine for the Peel family, first with Thomas then with James Thomas Peel, it was the Peel family that opted to convert it from an Ark/Speedway in 1994. In October 2007 James Cole & Paul Pinder joined forces to take the ride on, however this partnership would only last 4 years and George Rowland Tucker became the owner of it in 2011.
