Built by Edwin Hall under the licence granted by Eli Bridge sometime in the early 1960's. Cyclone was built for Butlin's in Filey and remained there until the site closed in 1983, The ride along with the assets was auctioned off and George Burrors Jnr was the highest bidder for the Cyclone. While the ride belongs to George Burrows, it has been operating at Primrose Vally Holiday site since 2022, a deal set up by Martin Holland, the park's fairground operator. In a strange twist of fate, Primrose Holiday Park is sat on the same land that Butlin's Filey was on.
