We are David & Vicki, and for the past 3 years we have spent our spare time visiting fairs in Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and Norfolk. Over that period, we have developed a keen interest in the industry and in collecting data, images, and the history of some of the country's most loved rides. We established the Funfair Diaries website just over 2 years ago to collect and store information for others to see.
With us both enjoying different areas of the funfair industry, we have brought it all together to create one of the fastest-growing sites around. David loves to ride the rides and video them; he has also self-taught himself a limited amount of coding to be able to create this website from scratch. Vicki loves to take photographs and play with editing tools to try and create the perfect picture. Her keenest interest is trying to get as many moving rides in a single image.
We also have 2 daughters, with the eldest leaving for University this year, and our youngest has been our juvenile ride tester. If she doesn't like it, then it simply isn't gonna pass the test.
